Let's

Let's stop this race

And learn to walk together.

Let's learn to breathe and not get out of breath

As there is plenty for all of us

To satisfy our needs

But only scanty to meet our desires.

Let's learn to love

Not only with words but actions.

Let's live and let live in peace.

Hold on

I am drifting away
O’ Lord, I am drifting away
And I so want to hold onto You.

The worries of this world
I am unable to battle
And I am aching with the pain
Of being trapped and torn
I look up to Your strength
When in weakness I am drenched
I so want to hold onto You.

Where ever I look
There are trials and temptations
And all my ways lead to these
There is one way Jesus
That You alone can show
Hold my hand and lead me on.

I am being pulled and dragged
All because of my evil desires
And yet I so want to hold onto You
For you alone are my hope and escape
Help me Lord to keep holding onto You.

All over again

Every day, it’s just what I want to say
It’s never too late to begin,
To start all over again.
Like a bird
Trying to build a nest
When the old one’s broken down;
It’s time to give away your frown
Let go all the things that’s putting you down
It’s time to begin all over again.

Love is illiterate...

Someone wrote on the door of the heart

“Please, do not enter.””

Love came smiling and said,

“Sorry, I am illiterate.”

It entered into the most hardened of hearts

Smiled sweetly and said, “I love you”.

It was shouted down with a string of abuses

Yet it kept smiling and said,

“Wow, I never heard any of these before. But surely, it seems you love me so much.

I just used three words and you kept going on and on.”

Irritated and flushed red, the hardened heart managed a smile and said,

“It’s not love. I was abusing you.”

Love became excited and jumping up and down said something one could never imagine,

“So you are blushing now and smiling back and say it isn’t love.”

Fuming with rage, the hardened heart caught hold of love.

But before it could say anything, Love chirped in,

“O’ so now you are holding me and I know you’ll never let me go.”

My HOPE

I can hear the sound of music
Flowing from the sun like the rays
O’ its taking me back again
To the memories of happy, happy days.

We used to play till the sun went down
Beckoning us to get back home
And tumbling down from the trees we felt
How quickly the time had flown.

The redness of the twilight and the gleam of the even’ lights
Spoke to our eyes and made us walk
It reminded us of the promise of the daily bread and wine
And gave the hope to wait for the rooster’s hark.

Those were the days of smile and warmth
Friendly hugs and togetherness
I can hear the sound of music bring a hope
A light into this world that’s in a mess.

I hope this music of peace and love
Rolls over and over and makes a way
Melts the darkness that surrounds us now
Brings back the joy that’s gone away.

Jesus is still the same

I met Jesus by the roadside
As I was begging with no sight
Jesus came and called me up
Touched my eyes and showed me light.

I met Jesus when about to be stoned
Hiding my face from the revealing sun
Jesus came and pleaded my case
And then, my accusers there were none.

I met Jesus when I was dead
With relatives crying and no sup’
Jesus came and calmed them down
Held my hand and woke me up.

I met Jesus from the tree top
Straining to look who is He
Jesus came and called my name
Came into my house and dined with me.

Days have passed and so have years
Yet I still meet Jesus everywhere
By the roadside, from the tree
Always eager to set me free.

He’s the same as He was
Full of compassion, glory and power
Touches and heals every heart
Sends His blessings in Heavenly showers.

I...

My mirror shows who am I
And the reflections of the day...
The smiles that are flashed on me reflect
The I that I market everyday...

It's what people see u as,
I is what everyone wants you to be...
Just be what you are to yourself
And to others that's what you'll be...
